We are not halal licensed.
Special customisation Policy
A surcharge of $2 per meal is applicable for the following special requests.
Vegetarian:
A well-rounded vegetarian diet can be healthy and nutritious. But it may also increase your risk of certain nutritional deficiencies. If you opt for vegetarian dish, we will use the likes of beans (edamame, tempeh, tofu), eggs, dairy products to ensure you’re getting the essential macronutrients in your diet, especially protein.
No Chicken:
Our main meat-based ingredients are chicken, fish, seafood, beef and pork. Among them... chicken is the lowest in terms of cost. If you opt out of chicken, we will then replace it with other sources of protein, which warrants the extra charges.
No Carbs:
Carbohydrates are your body's main source of energy (calorie). They help fuel your vital organs to keep them functioning. A balanced diet should contain a quarter portion of carbs. At FMK, we use complex carbs rather than simple (refined) carbs because they are healthier and lower in Glycemic Index. Examples of complex carbs are brown rice, whole wheat pasta, konjac, quinoa, millet, yam and sweet potatoes.
If you opt out of carbs, we then have to add extra vegetables and legumes to meet your recommended daily calorie intake.
By the way, vegetables and legumes still contain a fair amount of carbohydrates. But they are also high in fibre that aid in digestion, making you feel full, keeping blood cholesterol levels in check.
